..and for all of you too slow in understanding, it means I'm furiously masturbating my war god with the other.
Orphaned Land at the Prog Power venue = worth the trip alone.
I'm in Atlanta this week, I might as well just get in line now.![]()

I'm also psyched about PC69. Ironically, in the last two months I've really gotten into these guys. Simply put, they are just good, clean fun. And now I get to hear David Readman sing live, after he left Adagio shortly after they were confirmed for PPV.
I really enjoyed it. It was the one mistake I made in my Top 10 of 2004. It should have been an honorable mention. Was listening to it again last night. It's going to be interesting to see how they pull their music off live.JayKeeley said:I can't remember - what did you think of Mabool?
The singer reminds me of Kelly Hansen of Hurricane. That's a fairly obscure reference, I know. But it drove me crazy for two weeks while I tried to put my finger on who he reminded me of. If you checked out Adagio at all before the last PP, you've heard him. Although he didn't perform with Adagio, he has sung on all of their CDs to date. As for who they sound like... that's still driving me crazy. Their CDs sound like quality 80s L.A. Metal, that's been Y2K updated, with a touch of Power Metal thrown in for good measure. While I'm sure that description won't drive you to quickly log on to your favorite online CD store and buy their entire back catalogue, it really does work. I'm not much of a fan of these throwback bands, but PC69 write really enjoyable songs. Though I could do without their power ballads (theirs or anyone elses for that matter), the rest f their material is strong. I have a feeling they will go over really, really well at PP.JayKeeley said:What a name, Pink Cream 69. It sounds just a tad gay, in a anal fisting kind of way. Who do they sound like?
You have mail.Dark One said:I'm intrigued about PC69, sounds like they're gonna be a blast! I definitely need to hear me some.
Yeah, I definitely went from "glass is half empty", to "glass is half full" mode. Now, if Glenn can only round out this line-up with Iced Earth or Demons & Wizards, Nevermore, Pyramaze and Magnitude 9, I'll need to be put on a prescription of AntiViagra.Dark One said:Zod - so glad to hear there's a couple of bands that have put you in "excitement mode".![]()
"Squatter"? Hmmm... that's the first time I've ever heard that term used to describe a same sex life partner.Dark One said:JayKeeley - you also bringin' that paying squatter of yours from London?

Would love to, but I think I won't have the extra vacation time. Leaviing for Playa del Carmen (Mexico) in a week. Going to be there for 12 days.JayKeeley said:Anyone else interested in doing Vegas for a couple of days before PPVI?
LOL. Thanks. We will. This is our 3rd trip there in as many years. Such an awesome little town.Dark One said:Zod, have an awesome time........you bastard!! heh.
