Osama bin laden dead

Wrong. Libertarians are fiscal conservatives that believe that government shouldn't be involved in moral issues like gay marriage, abortion and other socially conservative issues and also don't believe in wasting money in social programs for the lazy. Essentially, a libertarian believes that the government serves two purposes. Protect the populace from foreign invasion and protect the rights of its citizens.

I've talked to libertarians that were former Democrats and those that are former Republicans. The generalization that they are all Republicans holds no water, especially if you are going by the stereotype that all republicans are god-fearing people that hate fags and sluts.

I agree here.

Out of all the Faux news fucktard figureheads, I've got to say Sean Hannity is the one I would love to punch in the face the most. Bill O'Reilly is pretty funny when you give him the chance, and is a good debater (I'll give him that).

Who wouldn't want to punch Hannity in the face? I would punch him in the face too, and I'm registered Republican. The guy is a total jackass with no debating skills. His way of winning an argument is talk over you and never let you get a word in. Not as smart as Rush, who will let you talk and make a fool of yourself as all libtards will eventually.

Libertarians are fiscal conservatives

Sure they are.

Yes, and I bet you can count all of them on one hand.

They're not a commodity like Coca-Cola where one is just like the next. No, the Libertarians are now New Coke: nice new packaging, same tired old mantra that never delivers.

EDIT: You might be too young to get that New Coke reference. If you've never heard of Max Headroom, just forget it.

And for the record, I *really would* like to punch Sean Hannity in the face. I'd like nothing more than to beat his ass on national television. I hope he dies soon.

lol. You seriously wish death on those who do not agree with you or promote a differing opinion? Calm down man, do not let emotion cloud your judgment. Woo sa.

You know nothing about libertarianism it seems. Just give up.

Negative sir, I know plenty of it. It is you who knows nothing of libertarians, as you still hold on to this notion that they're somehow different from the other two parties and that they're not made up of Democrat and Republican has-beens.

They're irrelevant because they made themselves so, not because of what they claim to be. They have a good thing and then they fuck it up, just like always. Ron Paul has some good ideas half the time, but then he fucks it up by saying shit like we should go back to using gold for currency. Like I said, what they really are is not what they stand for.

Why exactly SHOULDN'T we go back to a gold/silver backed currency? At least it's worth something.

No sir, I wish death upon Sean Hannity because he is a closed-minded tool who bullies his way around in order to get noticed.

I have more respect for Glenn Beck than Sean Hannity; at least Beck's just a fucking wacko...he can't help it. Hannity is a malicious cunt who should be shot in the face.

I love the Onion here. "Glenn Beck is a fat, dumb, Mormon fuckface who should have drank himself to death when he had the chance."

Because it's not the Middle Ages. There's no progress if we just go back to shit that failed in the first place.

It failed because of entities like the Federal Reserve. They CAUSED it to fail so that our money has no real value, aside from what they SAY the value is, so that they can consolidate the wealth and further lead the lower/middle class into poverty.

Not really denying that but we don't have to go back to trading in gold coins like we're in Middle Earth or something. The most technologically advanced nation on the planet would have not just shit health care, shit education and shit foreign policies, but now we're gonna go back to a system of trading in gold coins? What's next, trapping for trading in furs?

I never proposed gold coins or anything of the sort. I happen to enjoy the convenience of paper money, just paper money backed by something a little more than ink and paper.

Though they took a hit during the country's super boner for Obama a couple days ago, if you check out kitco.com's gold and silver trends, metals are going back up in value. So I don't see a reason why we shouldn't take anything but a Middle Ages approach to restoring our currency.

I also think this country needs to produce products worth a shit, other than the few multi-role fighters we sell. That should boost our credit rating -- having products other nations seek desperately to own. I fucking hate this country, I'm moving to Canada when my commissions up.

I think we're all on board with that. While I don't think gold would be the answer, I think there would be other options as well.

In the future, wealth won't be measured by treasure but by real estate, communication access, and information. Hell, that's basically what it's measured by today. If our currency were based around what we were worth as a nation, (and what I mean by that is how important we are to the world) maybe it would be more sought after. If people want to invest their jobs, money, and growth in the US then THAT is how you grow as a nation and how you grow your treasure. That is what makes your money worth something. Nobody wants to invest in shitty countries because there's fuck all there and that's why their money is worth just a little less than zero.

This point is definitely not lost on me. It's a damn good one.
