A few months ago when OSA conducted our interview with Tuomas, we asked him if there was any news that he would like to disclose about the upcoming Imaginaerum movie. He gave us a valuable piece of information that was printed in the interview, but there was further information that had to remain "under wraps" until after a certain date.
It is now past that time, so we can now reveal the rest of what was said; which is that the Imaginaerum movie will be released in 3D! This explains many things during the interview that were mentioned about money, costs, and budgets. "We were willing to make some sacrifices so that we could have the money to bring this movie to life in the way it ought to be seen," Tuomas explained to us. There was also a lot of "technical jargon" regarding the logistics of how this all worked, but we were asked to not print this in the interview at the time, and were asked to reveal this news at a later time.
We were also allowed to take a small peek at how some of the 3D graphics looked, which you can access by clicking here.
Edited because the wrong link was copied. It's all good now.
