Now that the holidays are behind us, we now have time to reflect on the very eventful year of 2012 and look forward to the upcoming New Year.
A time-honored tradition at the OSA have been our New Year’s Eve chats, which have gained legendary status by many in our small but strong community. It has been a few years since the last time we all convened to usher in the coming year together, but our chat room will be open and everyone is invited to come in and welcome 2013 with your fellow Nightwish fans! At the stroke of midnight, New Year’s Day will also mark exactly one year since our “social network” sites (Facebook, Twitter, and the chat room) first opened. So whether you want to stop by to wish everyone a Happy New Year, or to celebrate our little milestone, you are all welcome to our end-of-the-year online gathering.
The chat will be hosted by our “chat room guru”, Hyperspace; who will open the chat room doors promptly at 9 p.m. Eastern (6 p.m. Pacific). But don’t worry if you are fashionably late; the chat room will be open throughout the evening for everyone to celebrate the New Year from their respective time zones. People could be dropping by at any given time, so while the chat will begin at a certain time, there is no set time as to when you need to be there or how long you have to stay! OSA New Year’s Eve chats have been known to last until dawn in some time zones, so click on the link; feel free to stop by, and stick around as long as you’d like!

Hope to see you there and to ring in 2013 in such good company!
