OT: Chicago peoplez ... good MN band on Sat

Everyone in the Chicago area, if you are looking for something to do on Saturday night, one of my favorite local Minnesota bands Cold Colours is playing in your area.

Cold Colours is not prog and not power, they are sort of doomy goth, so if that's not your scene, you may want to just support your local URN. But if you like that sort of sound, these guys are very talented - the singer in particular has a dynamite voice.

Supposedly Urn is a folkyish metal band.

And over in the Chicago Powerfest forums Withering Soul is a huge hit. I believe Diabolik put it best when he said 'I hope somebody puts a pike through the lead singer' or something like that.

LOL at The End Zone. An interesting place to have a metal show, to say the least. It's maybe 5-7 minutes from my house so who knows.
