OT: Trivium - Not a rumor but true.

this whole thing is god damned funny.

Corey and Travis were nice guys... hung with In Flames and I awhile back.

Matt on the other hand.... yeah.

Throwing shit at the stage is something that just a coward would do.
I still remember stuff like this
1995 - Maiden show here in Milan: a stupid guy throwing at Harris a firecracker, no been hurted fortunately.
1996 - AC/DC show here in milan as well: another asshole throwing at Angus a cent right in his face... Angus were bleeding.
fuck that guy had a very good aim, he really got angus right up his left eyes.
2000 - Gods of metal: people in the crowed threw bottles at Tommy Lee's Methods of Mayhem... I wasn't there, but watching that shit on the italian MTV I was just speechless.
I'm sick of all this assholes, if you don't like the bands take a tour of all the stands in the arena.....
I don't like trivium but I won't do something like this, you have to be really a coward to do that shit.

Haha, fellas. You DO know that this is what sells Trivium records?

Any band that polarizes as much as possible will be more "successful" than the "hard-working, blue-collar, honest" metalgroup from the basement around the corner. And although the only Trivium I know is the "Boat, Rudder"-pisstake - just by reading the "Trivium sucks" on this forum every 2 weeks I know that they must be fuckin' big by know. Regardless of their music.

I saw Lemme get rocked in the face by a bottle one time at Hammersmith Odeon. He got pissed and stopped the show.

I think the people were mad because Gay Bikers On Acid was the opening act.
:zombie:

I just got off the phone with corey and also was just talking to paolo on aim, and informed them both of this thread. they both found it pretty funny. i dont know where you heard this, but its not true. matter of fact, last time i saw corey i think he was wearing a chimaira shirt himself. i dont know who told you this, but it must have been a bitter ex-roadie.

seriously bro, if you got nothing better to do than post about this than i feel sorry for you. i dont appreciate shit talking about my friends on here and quite honestly i dont think andy appreciates the bullshit posts on his forum. next time, lets talk about records and the like.

Do a little research. I'm not one to start dishonest bullshit posts. Matt's father DID implement the rule and that is 100% true. They can deny it all they want but I have reliable sources. Perhaps they were unaware of the change(s) made by Matt's father. Maybe they realized how stupid it was and reverted back to the old rules.

Anyways, calm down. If this retarded useless tidbit upsets you, then you shouldn't waste your energy feeling sorry for me.

Plus, Andy can delete the thread any time he wants. I'm not going lose sleep over it.

Look, im not losing any sleep either. this is not true and im sure that your source is like i said, either an ex roadie or a band member that got burned for doing something stupid. i think its hilarious that you believe such crap. also triviums crew, i know them all personally and believe me, not one of em would stand for that shit as all of them could easily make a living a with many other bands. not a single one of em would put up with that. thats all im saying, im not trying to start a flame war or create any bad blood. i actually enjoy this forum and unlike many others its not usually full of rumor based crap. im just tryin to keep the moral up around here...

God forbid someone has a sense of humor.

Do they deserve the god-like status they've been given? No. But do they deserve having bodily fluids hurled at them? No. Personally, I think a few of they're songs are pretty damn good. But that doesn't change the fact that Heafy acts like a douche.

That's probably a very true statement. So, ask your clients how things are going with finding replacements for the upcoming tour (Japan/Australia/New Zealand) with only 3 weeks to go. Ask them about all the money they lost in pre-purchased airfare. Plus, struggling to get work visas for their replacements in 3 weeks.

Honestly, I bet they don't even know. I'm sure they're ignorant to the whole ordeal. That's why they have managers so they don't need to worry about that kind of shit.

axeman720, I trust you and I highly doubt you're lying about what you've been told but these are facts.

One side note: You were also allowed to wear shirts for products they endorse.

i guess i can kinda see why they'd do that..(if it is true)..there promoting the band. its just like if you work at like best buy for example, you have to wear a best buy shirt..

haha i dont think its the same
unless trivium think the other bands are major competition:u-huh:

FWIW I've done some time as a stage tech and always wore 'blacks.' It's not normally a requirement for rock/metal but IMO it looks more pro. (I'm of course only refering to techs who can/will be seen on stage and only during the show). Plenty of big tours have crew shirts/jackets/etc. In the scheme of things this isn't really an unreasonable request-- certainly it's less damning than 1000 other internet rumors going around about this band.

Just a side note- One of Chimiara's roadies was wearing a Trivium shirt at the show I saw last week. Kinda funny, since all the other crew members had 'Chimiara Crew' polos on....
