Other bands similar to Evergrey???

Today I've talked with a man who's never heard Evergrey, so he asked me to name some bands, it can be compared with. Let's try to think together

Beyond Twilight "The Devils Hall Of Fame".
A bit less progressive and a bit more crazy but they have a pretty same atmosphere.

Angel Dust and Evergrey are both great metal bands, but I don't know if I'd classify them as the same kind of music.

I don't think there is anyone like them. However, I think Angel Dust is definitely in the right direction.

Angel Dust is an excellent band... and their heaviness and great melodies are in the same league as Evergrey. Very different bands... but Angel Dust does have similarities.

There really are no other bands that sound like Evergrey. That's what makes them so great!

Their last album sucked... but "Enlighten the Darkness" is one of the best power metal albums ever.

There are some similarities (mostly the guitar/keyboard interplay) between the two, but the atmosphere and composition are very different.

There are no bands similar to Evergrey.....I like Vanden Plas very much, but they are not so dark! Evergrey is my favourite band! Keep the dark side up!
