I guess I should say what I started with.

Rammstein, Korn, Slipknot, Deftones, etc.

In 1998, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Megadeth was added to the list of bands.

In 2000-2001, In Flames, Soilwork, Children of Bodom, Dimmu Borigr. (I quit listening to all the other shit before because it really really sucked)

Now, Amon Amarth, Ensiferum, Thryfing, Norther, Kalmah, Rammstein, Hypocrisy.

Of course there are bands I've listened to since 2001 that I didn't list because I'll always listen to them such as: Nightwish, Sonata Arctica and Bjork.

1998 -(got really into metal) dimmu borgir,slipknot ect
2000 - children of bodom,in flames,arch enemy,soil work, amon marth
2003 - kalmah , emperor , burzum , immortal , (alot of black metal)
2005/2006 - not sure yet
