Alright, here's a little game I came up with for DT's last album on a forum and it seemed to go over well. The object is to guess how many tracks there are, how long the longest track will be, and the overall length of the album.

Alright, my guess:
Number of tracks: 7
Longest track: 16 minutes
Length of album: 65 minutes

I think there will be 8 tracks, and probably the longest one will be shorter than The Odyssey.

But honestly, I don't really see what's the point of this . I guess it's just the anxiety that moves us.

It's not you're missing out on anything vital, at least in my opinion... the debut has got a couple of fine undercover gems, but is marred by its production (especially in the drum department) and Mr. Tyler, while "The Damnation Game" is a cornucopia of not-that-inspired songs apart from "The Edge Of Forever", "A Winter's Dream" and "Savage Curtain".
Sorry, I'm rambling... on to topic. After having heard the album's title and having seen the tentative art, I actually expect a conceptual piece more in the vein of "V", meaning at least ten songs, a couple of segues and a medium-sized epic included.

and we all know Symphony X writes GREAT long songs. anything similar to the Odyssey's epic will be considered legendary in my book.

Hey what's up I'm new.. Anyway,

You guys think The Turning was a filler song? That's one of my favorite songs by Symphony X. It's heavy and has an awesome solo section. Hmmm, oh well, to each his own. I don't think it's filler though.

My prediction is about the same as everyone elses:

1. 8-10 songs
2. longest song being from 21-26 minutes
3. album length being around 70+ minutes.

The Haunting wasn't a filler track, that song is fuckin bad, one of the better ones on that album. As for Taunting the Notorious, what on that album wasn't filler.
