"Taunting The Notorious"? "The Haunting"? "The Turning"? C'mon...

I agree about Taunting the Notorious and The Turning, but I would have said Savage Curtain was the weakest track on TDG. I see where you're coming from though as The Haunting isn't a very popular song. I still like all these songs except maybe TTN especially as the vocals aren't that great.

I'm not a big fan of The Damnation Game as an album, so I could have named most songs on there as a filler (though I would have been barbecued really fast by the people here had I chosen "Dressed To Kill" ), so I just came up with the song I can't associate ANYTHING memorable with right now... even "Secrets" has that delightfully cheesy chorus.

"The Turning" is far from a filler, it's as good as any other song on "The Odyssey". More filler-like song is "The Witching Hour", definitely.

Damnation Game = fillers??
I think Odyssey is far from being as good as the others....
Wicked and Incantations of the Apprentice, now they are fillers!
I also think Accolade II is a filler in a way.. There are som really good parts (the one´s taken from the first song) but otherwise, it does not come anywhere near the first Accolade.

I really love Secrets, it's quite an 'up' song, feel good, nice pace, harmonious chorus....and that riff that ends the song is truly memorable!

Taunting the Notorious and the Turning are awesome, I am really surprised that you think they are fillers, those songs blow away 90% of the metal that is released today. On the Breath of Posidon is a good example of a filler.

What is and what isn't considered a "filler" track is completely subjective. I don't agree with the people who are saying songs like "Sonata" and "Transendence" are filler; those are segues. A filler track to me is what it sounds like -- put on the album just to take up space between the real masterpieces.

To me, (excluding the self-titled album because Rod makes everything filler) Symphony X's filler tracks are:
Savage Curtain
Secrets
Out of the Ashes
Pharaoh
The Witching Hour
In the Dragon's Den
Orion - The Hunter
The Bird-Serpent War / Cataclysm
Absence of Light
Incantations of the Apprentice
The Turning

That doesn't mean I don't like the above songs. I just think they're not nearly as strong as the other songs on their respective albums.
