Pearl Brass Snare Samples

I don't want this to be taken as any kind of criticism as im VERY grateful for these samples but
seeing that you don't always record the same number of samples per velocity (10-12)
wouldn't it be easier to separate them in folders or to name them accordingly to their respective velocity?

Here are the TCIs for the other 2 snares:

i had to use my ear because i got confused a little between
the velocities so maybe there is some sample where it shouldn't be ;)

Thanks for the NKIs FrankTheSmith ;)
and of course thanks again to Drumwerks for the samples :worship:

Great sounding samples Drumwerks.Thank you for this.
Here are my version of GOG files for Drumagog.I make velocity treshold aproximatly, you can change it for your needs an save them as new gog's.I also been little confused about velocity hits so vel.groups make by ears....

Thanks for the kind words and thanks for the effort to everyone creating the different formats. That's what it is all about.

OK, one last set for everyone...

Pearl Maple Free-Floating Snare - Good solid tuning, not the tightest, but definitely not a fatback tuning.

You get the same drum, same tuning, in both wide open (ringy) and muted (drier) sets. Definitely nice to blend these together to get the right amount of ring out the drum.

Hope you can find a use for these...

Really appreciate the Snares guys and thanks to all involved :D

Thanks for sharing the samples and packing them for different instruments!
I've made some examples for each of the snare variation in the same beat:

Had to log in and say thanks for these. I've bought a few sample packs from you guys over the years. You guys make great samples.

Overwhelmed by all the kind words... really, you all are too kind. Makes me want to tune up some snares and get more up here!

I will, once all the Pearl snares are finished and put up officially at the drumwerks.com site.

I've been recording and re-recording every Pearl snare I own for the past two years and think that now it's well over a gig of snare samples, it's time to properly release them. It's great fun recording them, but everything else involved to package them is a time-consuming bear.
