Some friends and I camped outside a Target on the night before the PS3's release to be among the first to buy it (they were only shipping ~10 to each store at the time), then immediately sold our boxes on Ebay for 50%+ profit.
Of things I consider doing, the only thing that really applies is that I still hold ambitions of making it big in the music business.

God, no.
I enlisted when I was 18 and served my three years and have never looked back. I hated every moment of it and every possible aspect of what I was engaged in.
I then spent a few years working as carpenter, farming houses, etc. As of right now, I attend university.

Suppressing my urges to question authority was a major issue. I also spent quite a bit of time in therapy dealing with issues regarding to certain actions I had to take while under fire, i.e. taking another human life, etc.
Others here have been in the military and may have seen action. I'm not very eloquent, or erudite for that matter, when asked to describe my experiences in the army or overseas.
