pitch shifter??

I know some of you use a pitch shifter on your guitar tracks to imitate a bass. Can anyone tell me whats a good one to use for that purpose.

reapers built-in pitch shifter is the best.
also the one cubase has is worth a shot but needs a lot of tweakage.

dunno about plugins but the waves one does its job too.

i have the waves plug but after applying it sound way buried . Im tuned to b standard. Any tip on getting a proper ghetto bass sound ?
I heard a lot of tracks with this method and they sound more than ok .
