Taken while I was still scouting around for a house, and it was vacant at the time. It's not much of a house, but it was cheap. I took some pics of oddities, like the antenna bases in the backyard, the foundation bracing, and the vastly inordinate power and commo taps in one upstairs bedroom. The previous owners were serious ham radio operators.

Now, of course, I've totally trashed the place.

Uhmm... move? That's what we did. We couldn't afford anything in the DC area, so we decided to move out of the state. I'm rapidly falling in love with North Carolina.

The fat beagle belongs to my mother in law, the poor little bastard is on a crazy calorie restricted diet, he's lost about 10 lbs already

It was built in 96, as a 1500 sqft ranch I don't have much history on it, the upper level was built a couple of years ago.

Congratulations! My wife and I have lived in our first new home for a year now and we love being homeowners. It's a great investment no matter what some people tell you.

I have a cousin that currently lives in Fredericksburg, VA, but he's moving his family to Huntsville, AL in October. It's depressing to me to think I'd have to move to Alabama, but I guess he has to do what he has to do.
