Please post some good EMG 81/85 guitar DIs - need training for reamping !

I'm waiting for my M-audio Profire 2626 to record DI's (couple of days...).
If you want I can record some riffs with guitar eqipped with emg81

cheers

heheh, the ampsim is under production .. You'll need to wait, and I guess you will know eventually when it's out

the signal chain is: DI's -> (new)Ampsim -> LeCab -> highpass/lowpass -> mp3
all knobs at noon within the sim, except post gain which is boosted.. have only modeled 85% of the internal signal path so far.. the poweramp stage is not modeled.. with the presence and low end treatment..

With the pregain lowered, and post gain at max through Catharsis S-preshigh, for comparison:

final question, which pickups? Sounds veeeeery nice, dude. I hope someday I can get such a tone

Tone is in the hands too though, Marcus is probably one of the cleanest players I've ever heard, same goes for Ola (Goddamn Guitar), getting a good tone is a breeze with such guitarists.

If a POD Studio UX2 passes as a 'DI' I could post a riff or two coming from my Schecter C-1 Hellraiser with the EMG 81TW and 89, if anyone wants them. I'm new to this whole re-amping business, but as far as I know, you have to record the dry signal of your guitar in mono, 24 bit/PCM wav output. If not, please feel free to correct me :)
