that wasn't true the first time someone said it and it isn't true now that tons of people have hopped on the bandwagon either. it's ridiculous.

I don't give a shit about anyone else. I first heard RIB when I was about 16, that's 10 years ago, and I knew no-one else into metal, and I had the same reaction then. I almost gave up on Slayer after that, and lucky I didn't, because Hell Awaits and (even more so) Haunting the Chapel are great. I always thought Reign in Blood was one of the most overrated albums ever, not because it's so particularly bad, but because it's entirely redundant when viewed with the rest of their catalogue.

Pleasure to Kill. But I prefer Coma of Souls, and Seasons in the Abyss to the two you chose. I love Slayer, but Kreator is my second favorite Thrash band, after Sodom.

i can understand people thinking a couple of the songs are filler although i totally disagree, but come on, postmortem is filler? altar of sacrifice is filler? i seriously have trouble believing you could listen to these songs and honestly say that.

Yeah Altar of Sacrifice has a good riff, but Necrophobic, Reborn, Piece by Piece, etc = filler. With half these songs you can sing the chorus of Angel of Death, that's how similar the riffs are. Plus Tom Araya is even more irritating on this album and the 'solos' sound like someone strangling a cat.
