Stop thinking of it as a Kreator album. Recatalog it as Mille Petrozza's Gay Band. Then it will all make sense.

Also don't think of it as metal. Listen to it as a rock album. The disappointment is caused by expectations of insane thrashing being utterly unfulfilled.

They shouldn't have labeled it Kreator then. Sorry, just a disagreement, but it's a contender for biggest sell-out album of all time. I'm glad they got back on track eventually.

Endorama isn't horrible and is certainly better than Slayer's trash material. Endorama is disturbing at first because Kreator aren't supposed to be a rock band playing love songs, but if you shut your eyes and open your mind some of the songs are pretty good. Some are pretty bad. The live version of Golden Age is vastly better than the album version.

I agree that it's not a Kreator album, and I agree that it's absurdly commercial (although I get the sense from that album that Mille is more interested in the music he's making than most 90s thrash bands were). I just don't feel that those necessarily make it bad. It's obviously not for all metalheads, but I think that where the watered down thrash of most thrash bands during the 90s is definitely shitty thrash, Kreator's weird metal/alt rock hybrid thing is pretty good for what it is.

I didn't read page three, but did WAIF just say that a later Kreator album is better than all of Slayer's thrash material?

Why are you still on this board? It's not called 'Ultimate Opinions Regarding Metal That Suck Shit'

then again, I'd have to follow my own advice :erk:

You'd think that if you thought someone made a ridiculous statement but weren't sure you'd double-check before flaming, but I guess when you're a such a colossal faggot you don't have enough time between bouts of gay sex to check your facts.

I said Slayer's trash material, i.e. the albums whose ultimate fate is to fill my wastebasket. DI-GHUA. I'll take Endorama over any of those, any day.

That wasn't really a troll. You said some stupid shit because you failed to read what I actually posted; you can't really then just say "haha, I was kidding, got you!" Just own it, dude.

Actually, though, I think I like Hordes of Chaos about as much as South of Heaven.
