I just bought one of these bu I am a little fuzzy on how to download patches that people have posted. Any tips/tricks?

Yeah, get line 6 edit and line 6 monkey... both are available from the line 6 website, you should install those, update all the firmware, and then you can open and save patches with line 6 edit after that...

You'll get it in no time.. be sure to go for the kazrog patches, splatt88's and diobolics as well..

that is, if you have the metal pack installed?

I think Shane (kazrog) and diobolic have them in their sigs...

And be sure to try http://line6.com/customtone/ and look for splatt's patches and many more...

I find it very hard getting a good tone without the stomp screamer, I mean. I have downloaded many from everywhere and I've tried to create many other but finally I always turn on the screamer and use the condenser mic.

Am I doing something wrong or is only that I have scream-condenser-like ears?


If somebody wants to check them out and tell me if this tones sound ok in their Pc, amps or whatever...

I have not purchased the add ons yet so couldn't really give the other a go. Also didn't have the verb that you used on the rectifier patch but meh thats a small thing.

Jevil I think both sound good.
I noticed that other peoples patches have more mids in them than mine?
I have found that pluggin into my channell strips and eq'ing helps alot too, I like to know exactly what is getting recorded.
