While I agree with what you are saying, I was pointing out that bills still have to be paid in the short term, too, so someone doing this professionally will have to accept both types of clients in order to keep the income coming in, especially early in their career. They may want to use a different name with the "lesser" clients to keep their track record clean, but they can definitely help keep the rent paid and food on the table in the short term. And one can only accomplish their long term goals if they survive the short term. Otherwise they'll be looking for a day job.
