Ancient thread...I'll have to say one of LOTR, Godfather, and The Dead, but the latter two suffer from having a disappointing third entry made years after the fact, so LOTR it is.

I think only ct_thrash and myself like Day of the Dead better than any of the other Dead installments. :tickled:

the supposed 4th Indiana Jones should rock, if only harrison ford can get off his walker and quit banging ally mcbeal

i picked star wars. the second SW trilogy is worse than Rambo

i love the back to the future series. just goofy dumb fun.

I went with Lord of The Rings. Probably one of the largest achievements in modern film-making; Adapting three books like that, to form one cohesive on-screen story is quite amazing.

no, fuck that. you clearly don't understand the glory that is raiders of the lost ark.

BELLOCH! BELLOCHH!

Don't get me wrong, the film's great, and the trilogy in general contains some of the most imaginative action set pieces ever committed to celluloid - I just find Marion Ravenwood really, really grating on the nerves.

Indy's introduction three minutes into the film is possibly the coolest first shot of a character ever, by the way.
