throw in your opinions mates, when the vocals are done tracking i'll throw them in too


drums - pearl masters, the usual lot.. d112 (yuck) + subkick, md421 on toms, sm's + md421 on snare, blah blah
the kick is heavily augmented with slate/monzter drumz, the snare has a bit of slate in there too

bass - jazz bass into sansamp

guitars - I think this song is a duesenberg, orange th30 and jcm800 for amps

blah blah, if something sucks, please share your opinion

You're going way too metal with the mix I think; relatively scooped guitars with a lot of high end and more gain than needed, really clicky kick sound and a small/snappy snare, cymbals without much body to them.

yeah, you're acctualy right, haven't seen this from such a perspective... just went with what sounded good to me, i'll dabble in the texture of the instruments a bit more
