Porcelain Heart video screen-shots

There's a lot of aspects of those pictures that really pleases the nerd and/or fanboy in me, but I can't help but feel that as a whole, it really permeates a bit of Cradle of Fear vibes... like something Cradle of filth would make... actually with the exquisite Victorian garb, it's actually a step above CoF... Yet the scene with Mike sitting there with the acoustic guitar looks awesome. It makes me really excited to see this music video. :)

Ninety-nine percent of the time, music videos are done so poorly and rarely fit the music (e.g., the video for "The Grand Conjuration," which seriously sucked my ass).

I guess I'll reserve judgment until I actually see it, but I prefer the video going on inside my head to somebody else's vision, whether it's Mikael's or the director's.

P.S. Does anybody else die of laughter every time they see the video for Kalmah's "Groan of the Wind"?

You mean this'n?

Yes, I see what you mean entirely. I myself giggled when the camera went from the dead guy grabbing the lady scene, to the underground cave where the band was playing (after passing balled up twine and such that I guess was supposed to represent land mass!)

Yeah! I love the song, but that video is laughable, especially at the moment you just mentioned. Their outfits are pretty funny too I must say.

At least it makes me think it's something more Opethian than TGC video. It looks classy and promising, imo.

As long as it isn't 'in your face' like TGC. If it's eery, mysterious and open to interpretation I think it will be legendary. Loving the acoustic picture and the band as well. TGC presented the band as hardcore death metallers but this is more Opethian no doubt. The Castle :headbang:
