Porcelain Heart video screen-shots

Be easier, I'm joking - take a look at the smileys. Really hate these talks about Opeth sold out. They never was a commercial band - even on "Damnation". Roadrunner have some money to put in promotion - it;s very good and it doesn't make Opeth's music more commercial or worse.

Yeh, sorry. That just felt so stupid thing to say at the time. peac eout :kickass:

Somebody please get on photoshopping those Porcelain Heart screenshots! I thought I could see the Immortal guys in one of them....

What the fuck? Using much money on a album doesn't mean they're selling out.
It actually means they're getting deeper and deeper in debt, and they'll have to release another great album to make up for it... then again, they'll have money in that one too. Looks like an endless process! :kickass:

Ill be one of the only ones on the liking side. I think these images are cool, beatiful lighting and composition. And those shots of the band and Mike, really cool. This video I think might be pretty cool. Plus these image alone stand a million miles from Cradle of Crap videos, you can tell someone who knows a thing or two about cinemaphotography was behind these shots!!

I don't know about you guys, but I think it's the first time I've seen Mendez with a 5-string bass.

Holy shit! Good one... I didn't notice. Is he gonna be one of THOSE bass players from now on, you think?

EDIT: On second inspection, I dunno. Definitely looks like a 5-string to me.

Mendez played 5-string bass on Mellobobat while performing with Axe and Nathalie.

And Mike's red beauty is also not a new one - he plays it live sometimes.

That's a 5-string. Count the strings, and you'll notice that there's 5 :p.

More than likely he started using it because it'll be easier to play certain songs and he'll be able to play lower notes without switching tunings,
