The two lists above have Possessed's Seven Churches. Cool! I was crazy for that album when it came out. Beyond the Gates is great too. Really, they were pretty much a definitive death metal band, I think.

There is a reunion soon, at one of the metal fests in Europe. Isn't Jeff in a wheelchair? I heard that he was part of the reunion though. Anyway, good stuff.

Just hooked my changer up yesterday w/ some of my own discs. My friend has loaned me 150 cd's, in the last two months. I do this once in a while w/ bands I own at least three discs from, then random them for two to three weeks.

Pariah: The Kindred

So cool you found it and like it. To me the duo of Steve Ramsey and Graeme English is one of the most underrated ever as composers. From Satan to Pariah to Blind Fury back to Pariah and now Skyclad they have made nothing but good music.

And "The Kindred" and for me "Blaze Of Obscurity" are great jewels of the NWOBHM/proto-thrash transition. :headbang:
