Had myself a nice used cd haul from fye the other day. The fye employee dude told me some guy came in and sold off a ton of his metal cd's. I bought myself a few. All the cd jackets smell like smoke however. Anyway, I picked up the following for $65
Behemoth- Thelema 6
Entombed- Left Hand Path
Exodus- Good Friendly Violet Fun
Hellhammer- Apocalyptic Raids
Immortal- Sons of Northen Darkness
Nile-Amongst The Catacombs of Nephren-Ka
Obituary- Cause of Death
Overkill- Horrorscope
Vehemence- Helping The World To See
I had heard it was good, and for 5 bucks, I didn't have much to lose. It was different than I expected. I am unsure how I feel about it. Some parts sound really cool but so far most of it is forgettable.
Down - III: Over the Under
It was ok, but not as good as I expected actually.
Godflesh - Streetcleaner
This is a solid piece with some unsettling songs. I think people who like early Napalm Death or Ministry will like this one.
Napalm Death - Scum (re-release version with 28 songs)
This deserves to be called a classic. First half of the album 12 songs are quality but the later half with out Justin Broadrick or Nik Bullen is lacking.
