I love Cradle of Filth, and wanted to learn more about their artistic/literary influences. A fun read so far, well-written and well-researched. Maybe the most I've paid for a book since college ($45) but it's 500 pages, has a lot of pictures, and has good reviews.

Picked up the Anacrusis remasters. Not crazy about digipacks and haven't listened to them yet but I'm hoping for better sound quality, especially on Suffering Hour. Shades of Grey cd is a demo comp. They were a local thrash band out of Northwest Indiana. I recall seeing them twice, with Macabre and with Zoetrope. Don't remember much else about 'em
