Post your music here if you want people to comment on it

I am very odd at starting threads to just let people check out my music. This is a good idea...

I really like this man. From a thematic perspective this is fucking heavy.

Here's what I've been working on lately:

I'm almost finished with the upcoming Algarothsyum debut full length album. I decided to go ahead and release an instrumental track from the album. It's titled "Travelling Song", and it's exactly that - it depicts a mental image of travelling down some empty road through the vast wastelands. Check it out:

And here's something else that I finished yesterday. I recorded a cover of "Gigantesque" from the Soulcalibur IV Original Soundtrack. I did this for no reason other than I love Soulcalibur's scores. I transcribed it by ear into GuitarPro 4 (which took lots of patience...) into a 4-guitar arrangement, then recorded it after that. For fans of the Soulcalibur series, you should definitely enjoy this:

Enjoy! Let me know what you think.

Hello Everyone-

Haven't been on the forums in a loooong time.

Wanted to share some of the projects I've been working on recently.

I just bought a Megatar about 3 weeks ago, similar to a Chapman Stick. 12 Strings with 6 for bass and a standard guitar on one neck. Extremely fun to play.

I recorded a short track and video to showcase it and hope you enjoy it, it's the first music video I've ever done. Thank the iphone!

Hello... I have just completed my first attempt in writing a metal instrumental. Would really love to hear your feedback, tips to improve which will help me get better.

The song is here... Catmatic - great TV drama

The guitars and recording are all through the boss gt-10 processor.

Thank you for taking the time.

Cheers!

@Rethorn

Nice... well recorded. The intro and the solo in the end is good. During the verse and chorus, I felt the guitars were a bit too loud and overpowering... great work though. You are pros of course.

@catmatic
nice work dude,its just that i can feel the transition in the tempo and the sound changes when the lead guitar comes in ,i think its a mixing proplem ,but a rly nice piece of work ,just needs a lil bit more work and u will come up with something rly gr8

@GobyGuitar

Thank a lot for your feedback and the encouraging words. Yes, am having plenty of problems near the leads with a lot of clipping happening. While the recorded parts are clean in standalone with plenty of headroom, when put together was causing a lot of clipping so had to cut/record with reduced gains to keep the clipping to little. Have to figure out how to handle this while recording and mixing.

I really liked winds of longing and I think it is coming out well. Especially liked the riffs and melodies when the vocals come in and would love to hear the complete version.

Do you mind sharing what your set up is and how you record. Thanks a lot and best of luck...cheers
