hahaha well I didnt know who you and tess were either...but next year i'll be CRAZY :headbang::hotjump::wave:

.....if that is a promise than I may have to change my identity before then....then you would have to re-meet me, and you would be sure to be shy again, and I would be safe from your "craziness" for another year!! ;)

btw....keep your clothes on! :loco:

Jeers, hmmm - no local beer stores...

If you walked down the Peachtree block that ProgPower was on until you hit between Peachtree Place and 8th Street (like only 6 blocks down) you will get to this giant beer and liquor emporium that is opened until like 11:45pm at night. It was called Mac's I believe.

Cheers:

To Glenn for organizing the whole thing
To the bands
To David Readman for spending so much time with me
To Lance King for the picture and autograph
To my friends
To Mike for the stuff he sent me; what a great friend! :)

Jeers:
My delayed flight on Thursday night
Losing my signed program
No Sky Blue or other bottled sweet drinks at the bar
Only one size Pink Cream 69 shirt, way too big for me
The dark stairs
Not getting to say goodbye to everyone

ohmygosh. when Bear first said that to my parents: "Tess is my sista from anotha mista" I could not stop laughing. I had only heard brotha from anotha motha and that freaking cracked me UP! :loco:

Cheers:
Glenn/Shane/Sponsors/Bands/Crew
DocMetal for transport and rooming
EVERYONE I did speak to/meet
The Vendors
Ruthven and Pellaz for many many many reasons (I need your paypal addy, Derek)

Jeers:
- Myself for a ticket mishap on Friday night in the vendor room BEFORE going upstairs, corrected by Ruthven and Pellaz
- Chronos, The Incarnation of Time - who brought about the idea of Monday and the rest of the workweek
- Bacturium and Viral things for headcolds, flus, and any other unhealthy matters
- The Sprawled pattern of Atlanta's city design, an oddly unfriendly unwalkable destination full of very kickass friendly citizens. Atlanta needs a Tecumseh Sherman again
- Houlihans for once again being incompetent while having decent food
- Holy Records, the French music label Orphaned Land was on before Century Media. Because there are 2 full (non-demo) OL albums which could have sold a good number of copies at the event, but were MIA.
- Noise Records for Conception's "Flow" album being MIA in the vendor room. WTF?
- Whoever stays on Glenn H's shitlist for rotten unethical practices like bootlegging.

Well, this year held mixed emotions for me.

Most of my jeers were not show related, and I enjoyed the show as well as I could considering all the crap that happened outside of the show. I don't know whether to do the jeers of cheers first. I guess I'll say what comes.

Jeer: having my the only two people I wanted to see more than anything ditch me pretty much the whole weekend.

Cheer: Everyone who I had fun hanging out. Sam for giving me the priviledge of trusting me to escort you from the ghetto to the show. Angela and her band of canadians that took me in for the weekend gave me a gold badge, and a winning raffle ticket. \o/ It was nice being surrounded with a bunch of people who had the same dry humor I have, and was able to appreciate it. I even was caught off guard myself several times. *grins* Curufin and Nailz for the awsome listening party, even though I was only able to catch 15 mintues of it. :( I did buy Dreamland Manor BTW. (wich isn't a BG clone, it 'IS' BG. hehe ) And I can't wait for Matt to get his album released either.

Cheer: The dark stairs. I loved Helping all the women down the stairs. *grins*
I enjoy being helpful. hehe No, I stumbled down them myself repeatedly. It's not just that they are dark, but they aren't spaced evenly.

Cheer: Manticora - I think I wanted to see them more than anyone else. Amazing musicians. I wish they wouldn't have cranked the base up so high though. Other than that... mmmm
Orphaned land: They are so good I can look past the fact they have some death vocals. ;)
Angra: Amazing that Edu was loosing his Voice, but he still not only sang the whole Concert, but he came back for the encore(I can't for the life of me remember how to spell that) Angra always amazes me when they play dueling guitar solos. I liked them in III a little better though. I loved the rebirth Backdrop they had then.
Circus Maximus: Rocked for it only having been their 5th show 'EVER!' Big round of applause for those guys, keep it up!
Conception: Good show, but I was too tired to really enjoy them. with the energy I had, I felt like they sounded better on CD. I personally would have rather have seen kamelot... :( but so far those have been the 2 PP's I've missed.
Stratovarius - Amazing guitarist. I don't like them as much as I used to, but I still know how to enjoy a good show.
The rest of the bands played well. I enjoyed all of them.

Cheer: Glenn and the entire Crew. The usual thanks. Good job, and keep up the good work.

Jeer: Bank one for making all out of state access to my money unavailable through ATM's for the weekend due to maintenance?!? :OMG:

Good thing I could still pay for my room..........
