In my opinion, Nazism and Communism are far worse than religion, combined, the two have killed more than religion.
Catholicism killed in the crusades for the right for christian pilgrims to visit a holy city
Islam killed back then to defend themselves, a small (obscenely small) minority kill out of an extreme sense of nationalism.
The Jewish state of Israel kills to defend its own right to exist as a free and secure state for the Jews after the horrors of the holocaust.

Hitler believed he could perfect the human race by eliminating people he believed to be inhuman, and twelve million are killed for it
Stalin believed that communism was perfection, 20 million die under his regime
Mao believed the same thing, 65 million people die in China

Overall communism has killed 100 million people worldwide

Governments that exert total control and commit genocide are far worse than religion. They help no one.

Religions today CAN help people. I know a few people who completely turned their lives around with the help of religion.

I think the fine only occurs for publishing or releasing blasphemy stuff.

Secondly i wouldn't say Communism is worse, Nazism is, but like you also said its the governments behind them, including individuals, kill all the people via the ideologies.
I don't care for religion but that just makes the law seem more unnecessary to me, its just the Church stopping freedom of speech like it has before in science and medicine and shizz.
