preference of guitar

Thats what i meant that if you want good factory pickups you have to get rr1 or rr5, and the pro series has duncan designed pickups that aren't actully the same as a seymore duncan.

Wrong again. The pro-series have Seymore Duncans. Check your facts, dude.

They've even changed the colors of the mechanics now. Instead of the boring silver shit they had before, they're now black. Looks pretty sweet!

Well, do you have a preference for a bodyshape? Classic (like LP or Viper from ESP) or Modern (MH or Soloist) or extreme (EX from ESP or RR, KV, Warrior, etc)

Some other aspects: IMO, Jackson necks play faster, ESP have better pickups (or the pickups I like, I also have EMGs in my Ibanez), I prefere Jackson bodyshape (King V or Warrior customs are my dream guitars)

For the rest, its up to you. You're going to spend 1000-2000 bucks on a guitar, so it seems like you've already started playing.

If you're going to start playing with this guitar, dont buy such an expensive one yet, and if you already have one, also think about a proper Amp etc...

go for high end LTD, i was really in love with the RR shape but they really didnt satisfy me, i needed 24 frets that they dont have and i just think the LTD's feel a lot nicer... i wouldve liked a V but instead i got an MH250 (i chose it but dont have it yet) and had 81/85 setup on it, it was nicer IMO than the RR1 and RR3 and RR5 they had... they were still nice though, just not what i wanted because of feel and frets... but yeah like mitch said just play them all, i did

yeah, 24 frets is a must. and i also think the V shape would be nice, but if i find something else, like if i play one of the MHs and it beats the V, i'd go for that.

rock hydra, nice guitar :)

I hope they release some other SVs in the future. With other finishes. I love the Randy Rhoads thing..but I would prefer them in solid colors.
