Presonus Firestudio

So how many of you use the Firestudio 26x26 For your main A/D and Preamplification?
Ive had it for a while now and its really hit or miss with the low buffer settings sometimes. I cant run it at 64 samples or i get terrible playback. Anyone have better luck with these?

Mines sitting in the box right now. I'm waiting for my firewire card . I'll keep you updated when I get it working though.

I have a Firestudio Project and haven't really had any difficulties when I get down in that range.

I don't know how different the drivers are between the Project and the 26x26 line though, so idk how much help i am.

Ive been doing some research and it looks like the m audio profire 2626 and i think it would be better for me than the firestudio. I wish someone would trade me haha.
