A while back I posted my impression of the Dream Theater VIP package. The Priest one was definitely a step up! Reposting my original thread from robhalford.com:
Last night I enjoyed seeing Priest for the fourth time (Ottawa 1986, Japan 2005, Calgary 2005) and had a blast at the VIP bash.
Everything went smooth. The two coordinators did a FANTASTIC job getting the VIPS from A to B. We had a nice spread of beer, ribs, skewers, vegetable platters and desserts at the private club behind the stage. Nostradamus was cranked and people chatted about their Priest experiences. Eventually, we were escorted down to get merch and then back up to the suite. A short time later, we all ended up backstage in a line waiting for our "minute" with the band. All the guys were friendly (especially Rob, Ian and Glenn for me) and I got my copy of Nostradamus (Deluxe) signed and the photo taken (which was uploaded recently!).
The show was a lot of fun too. Especially hearing Dissident Aggressor and Rock Hard Ride Free.
If you have the funds then I highly recommend taking the Platinum package!

He wouldn't shake my hand so I improvised a "fist bump". That was the second time I "fist bumped" since it is more of a new school thing. I "learned" the modern technique from the temp singer of Divine Heresy (Jake - excellent guy, sad he didn't get the gig). Rob, Ian and Glenn were all great. KK seemed distracted but he was super cool when I met the band in Japan back in 2005.
