PRIMAL FEAR To Join THE 2003 METAL GODS TOUR?

German power metallers PRIMAL FEAR have been offered a slot on the upcoming The 2003 Metal Gods Tour, a multi-band package featuring HALFORD, co-headliners TESTAMENT, IMMORTAL, CARNAL FORGE, PAIN MUSEUM, and AMON AMARTH.

"We're just in negotiations [about joining the tour] and [are presently] consider[ing] our possibilities," the band said in a statement on their official web site. In other news, PRIMAL FEAR's "History Of Fear" DVD will be mixed in April for an August release through Nuclear Blast. "The first editings [sic] of the picture parts are looking very promising," according to the group.

PRIMAL FEAR's next studio album will tentatively be recorded in October/November with a worldwide release planned for Feb. 22, 2004. A world tour in support of the album will kick off in March 2004.

Dark Tranquillity and Symphony X, two bands I've seen twice before, replaced with Primal Fear and Pain Museum, two bands I haven't seen yet. While the former two kick insane amounts of ass, I'm almost somewhat glad.

Okay, I'm done with the cheapshots now...I actually like Primal Fear, but Ralf's Rob-worship is pretty irritating at times.
