Gods Of Metal Tour 2003

I agree markgugs. I see this on the halford forum. People want a big festival but only if it is done their way and that seems to put 7 identical bands on a tour. Damn, I see all the killer diverse euro tours and wish we could have some of them yet the majority of US metalheads are closeminded wanting to stay within one genre.

How many songs do you guys think Testament will play? I'm thinking 10-12 songs, but the performances seem to be starting rather late for such a huge bill. I'd love to see a set list like they had on the portland show when they headlined, so more rare stuff like Eerie Inhabitants, Trial by Fire and Souls of Black are played but that obviously isn't going to happen.

Yup.

Mike Chlasciak & Bobby Jarzombek's (Halford members) band "Pain Museum" will be added to the line-up. Anyone heard these guys?

I haven't heard them yet even though I should have; they were 1 of the many opening bands when Symphony X played here last Friday night. If they were the band I was hearing from the other room, they were pretty aggressive traditional metal sounding.

i got screwed out of gettin tix for the 'Tallica tour and TestAmenT is my fav. band so if i dont get tix to this im gonna be one pissed off fat kid

Cool line-up for this tour. Finally a diversified tour to hit North America. These tours always end up being the best ones because you get to see all categories of metal and having different bands hit the stage all in one night is remarkable!! Hope this show stops in Montreal. The last diversified show here that I can remember was Cannibal Corpse, Dimmu Borgir, The Haunted, and Lamb of God but the The 2003 Metal Gods Tour has a better line-up especially with Testament ready to kick our ass!!! See you in the pit!! Keep thrashin!!!!

Halford/Testament/Symphony X are the ONLY good bands on this tour. The rest is a LOAD OF CRAP.

To say a band is crap is pretty fucking pathetic if you ask me, especially as all the bands on this tour are actually pretty damn good!

Well, Testament misses Poland again. What a shame. I hope I' ll have an opportunity to see my favourite band of all time live at least once before I die. Is there any chance that the Thrash Gods will visit my fucking country in the forseeable future? Loud hail and wild crowd guarranteed.

I am soooo excited about this tour! :headbang: I am glad Tampa is on the tour.
I have been a Testament fan from the beginning and have never had the pleasure of seeing them live.
I haven't seen Halford seen the Judas Priest days.
And what a great mix of metal this is! There should be something for every type of metal fan.
Damn, I will be counting down the days! WOOOHOOO
