Looks like they fixed the dreaded Windows bug.

That Avid site is still hideous for navigation. Ironic really, because it seems representative of the strength of direction the company has as a whole.
Me too, but if you consider the amount of useless shit writing in between you and those two important clicks, it puts things into more perspective.
The site is cluttered as fuck, no denying that. At least it's even a little bit better than the old Digidesign site. That was just horrible.i wonder if its fixed the issue with the digital clipping sorta noises i was getting with all my projects?!
Regarding the issue being discussed here - while we fixed the major issue in the 'placing sound early', there is still some device specific work that needs to be done to get this entirely taken care of. Each interface has slightly different compensation values and they can change depending on the OS being used. We were simply unable to finish that work before this CS update needed to go out, as there were many other fixes in it that other customers were desperate for (like the network fix for schools using Active Directory, for instance...).
Mbox 2 and 3 series should be good, the 002 and 003 we're still working on - and you shouldn't be seeing more then 30 or so samples offset. Not perfect by any means, but better.
any luck on finding this out?
