Regardless... I think this is a pretty awesome bit of news.

I know, but that speculation came directly from Avid, who said they considered the PT HD Native card to be worth $1000 and the software $2500 to justify the HD Native package price.

Yeah CPTK 2 is $2000, so $600 for PT9 + $2k to make it PT HD = $2600, so $2500 for PT HD and $1k for the HD Native card is accurate.

well im still on XP, so before PT9 im gnna have to get windows 7, then on top of that, if it doesnt support the 002, the 002 is worth f all i guess!. then again, if i can sell it for a aouple of hundred, id just get a small 4 in presonus or RME unit. ohh soo much to think about!!! XD
