Yeah it can be pretty picky about that shit. Mind you my old college had Pro Tools running on old dell dimensions I think. So you might be ok.

Their website also says PT9 has (unlike HD8+9) no "Input Monitoring".. wait what?
Ahh now I see it, but really the monitoring should be done from the interface anyway.
Disagree... I always track vocalists with plugin compression... Can't do that if monitoring through the interface unless the interface has DSP FX... Plus setting up the interface mixer and all my track levels in my DAW is twice as much work as just doing it in the DAW
Now, DV247 has the M-Powered upgrade for 285,25. Sweetwater sells the electronic delivery for roughly 245. Does Avid have some reason to brutally ass-rape me if I go ahead and order the electronic delivery from the states?
