Pro Tools HD Upgrade Discount

Not really a PT fan myself, but Avid/Digi just sent me this and I thought I'd pass it along:

Anyone who's planning to upgrade to an HD system should look into it before December 18 if possible, looks like they're running some discounts now. Sorry if this is redundant and/or not as cool as they're making it sound.

yes italian distributor sent me a letter about a discount, but it was an exchange offer, I'd give them my digi003 for a hd2 at half price.

I am wondering if they are going to go the route of the Eleven rack with the new HD line (if in fact it is coming out soon). That could be very cool.
