I have my sessions on a PC running PT 7.1. When I go to another spot to do things, it is running on PT 5.1.XX on MAC OS9. Even if I "save copy in" and save it as a "5.1-6 session" and check "enfore mac/pc compatibility" on the PC setup, when I go to the OS9 setup, it won't open the sessions. Lists them with the "PC" logo. So we have to hookup an MBOX to a OSX laptop running 7.1, open the files, save them the same way on there. Then they will open on the OS9, 5.1 setup. Any way of getting around this so I can just save on my PC setup and go straight to the OS9 setup without needing the OSX middleman?

why not indeed ;)!! 5.1??? yikes! the oldest version of tools i ever used was Mix plus, so 6.4.1

Bounce all the files (starting at timeline 0 / 1 whatever) and import them into the new session.
that's the best way to get around stupid compatibility problems quickly.
