My cousin from Poland has mixed himself a melodic opeth cd, consisting of virtually all the melodic bits from the full discography of opeth

it has turned out pretty well, but in light of the recent RIAA action, and tings, he's not quite sure if there is anything wrong in what he has done and if it would also be wrong, if he were to share this, on the ultimatemetal hub or wherever

is there anyone who could plaese advise?

also does anyone have a cool jpeg that could be used as a cover, the first cd is orchid - MAYH, the second is still life - deliverance

DC hubs are pretty safe as far as that goes. I think. Still, they're not a huge unified network like Kazaa or something.

ok! in that case in looks like it should be on the DC hub soon....

now for that other fing: does anyone have a cool jpeg that could be used as a cover?, the first cd is orchid - MAYH, the second is still life - deliverance

Well you know what, those stupid law suits are infact, very fucking stupid.. if you knew the facts, why would you enforce a law suit against a 14 year old that did not know any better.. I mean for the most part, if your sharing mainstream music on Kazaa, or on another high end peer sharing client, your going to get screwed... why? Well because these big god damn record labels want their money, and they'll stop at nothing to get it.. its just a fact.. its just reality to expect that america is nothing but a hungry starved bitch, and its always gonna be that way.. the music that the majority listens to isnt going to be as available, for obvious reasons... sharing of underground music on lesser known labels ofcourse, will be .. In the end its nothing more than riches and power, its not so much about creating and making decent music... I mean just look at the hip-hop scene... BLING BLING.... FUCK OFF
