Prog Power 4

The last 3 have been in Atlanta but I have heard things about a possible change in location for next year. But nothing is confirmed. ProgPower3 just ended like 2 weeks ago so I HIGHLY doubt 4 is in the planing phases yet. And saddly we will have to wait untill about this time next year to see this amazing show again.

Actually, the first ProgPower was in Chicago. :) However, Glenn, the promoter, has said that he wants to keep the show in Atlanta. There has been talk of a location change, but, most likely, it'll just be a change to a larger venue here in Atlanta. I'm not sure how much has been done in terms of planning for PP4, but I know it has started. Glenn is pretty good about keeping us all informed via posts on the board here, and on the ProgPower site: www.progpowerusa.com As soon as any information is released, you'll see it at one or both of those places.

Hmmm. I dont know if PP IV should be in a bigger venue or not. It might work if it was a little bigger but not over 1500 or even 1200 GA. I mean Glenn deserves as much money as he can get and I have no doubt the shows would still be godly GODLY LIKE EDGUY, GAMMA RAY, BLIND GUARDIAN, and ANGRA!!!! but some of the things like you know walking around and meeting all the people from the bands and getting your stuff signed I fear that might go away if PP gets too "big". Thats just my two cents.

It depends on what Glenn considers "too big." At the BG/Symph X show last night, I met several people who saw my PP3 shirt and commented they wanted to go, but tickets sold out too quickly.

For me, the market for a slightly bigger show sounds like it would be there. It just depends on whether Glenn wants the extra burden of planning for a larger event.
