ProTools - Metronome Pre-count

Hey guys,

I'm heading off into the studio in a short while to start doing some tracking. Since there is a few tracks where chorus/verses alter tempo, I'd like to know if there's any way of getting a pre-count from the click at the correct tempo before kicking into a verse or chorus? This is instead of actually starting the playback 4 bars or so earlier, which would give me 4 bars of verse tempo then kick into chorus tempo with no cue for the musicians.

Yes, there is. It's in Click options or on the Pro Tools Transport. The function is called Countoff. You'd have to punch in with it, though. You probably can't do it with a take straight through.
