I think I'm the only person around who loved Q2K though. .

I love it!
Falling Down, Liquid Sky, The Right Side Of My Mind - Brilliant! :headbang:

Y'know, Wrathy, that really isn't saying much. :)

I meant it in the sense that it compares very favourably with Promised Land, an album that you and I agree is one of QR's best (and much like OM II takes a few listens to appreciate).

I can't stand Hear In The Now Frontier either, and didn't bother with either of the next two releases apart from what was on the live albums. I have a feeling I may like Tribe, but it's just too damn short.

Now if you'll excuse me I'll just go and sulk about missing out on the tour. If it was physically possible for me to travel interstate to one or more of the shows, I certainly would :(.

You are correct, Promised Land does rule. Get rid of Out of Mind and it's a masterpiece.

That reminds me, people - get rid of Face in the Sand and Age of Innocence from Dance of Death and it's a much better album. Give it a try one day - at the end of Paschendale, skip to Journeyman. It is SO much better without the two worst songs on the album. Perhaps ditch New Frontier as well while we're at it - no need for fundamentalist Christian rubbish on a Maiden album, surely.

I'd swiftly chop Montsegur, Dance Of Death and Paschendale - 3 songs which I know some people would consider good, but those people are wrong.

I never much cared for Dance of Death or Paschendale until I heard them on Death on the Road, so now I don't mind them at all. Montesgur is a bit of a dud though, I agree.

Paschendale is one of Maiden's best songs to date. I was very surprised to see Bruce didn't have a hand in writing it.

Face In The Sand is great, it has an awesome atmosphere and the intro is killer.

I really like Dance Of Death as well. The solos are awesome.

Montsegur, and New Frontier I don't mind, but they don't really do anything too special.

Prices are at Ticketek. Brisbane tickets are $67 or so, dunno about the southern states.

I haven't decided yet. Money's too tight to mention, unfortunately, especially with my end-of-year trip and the Robbie Williams gig two days before I fly out... so I'll probably have to forego any unnecessary concerts.

Hmmm it'd be cool to go, but given that I've only got one of their albums I'm not sure if I want to spend that much.
