Question for the band/anyone that knows..(NYC show)

The show on 12/12 in Brooklyn is listed as "changed" on the website, but on Ticketmaster.com and on the L'Amour site [the venue], it is still listed as happening. It is also listed as "changed" on the other bands' sites, too. What's the real deal with the 12/12 date?

I've actually been wondering that myself for a while now.
If ticketmaster and the venue still report it as a comfirmed event shortly before that date, then I could be pretty sure it will indeed take place.
I know that when it comes to these things, the venue and ticketmaster should always have the correct information (band websites aren't always up-to-date) And I believe it'd also be pretty illegal of TM and/or the venue to sell tickets if it isn't already comfirmed and secured.

..at least I'm hoping it'll happen. I'd love to see them again.

...mmm well as far as I'm concerned the tickets haven't even gone on sale yet for that venue. So you don't even have to worry about buying them yet. But I'd keep a look-out, especially on ticketmaster.com (even if you don't plan to buy them through there)

so i checked the sites changes of the tour
and it magically skipped dec 12 lamour show

did i miss something?

thanx =] fuckin ay, this siht ain't funny =P but lamour still advertises the show on their site if it makes u feel al il better. then again. lamour.... sucks... with their orginazation ...and everyhting all together....
 
The thing is, ticketmaster has that convenience charge. Even if I were to buy it and get a refund if the show didn't happen [a refund would probably be asking a lot, too], I doubt i'd get the 10 dollar convenience charge back.
 
I'm from NYC and personally know the owner, The show is happening. Buy tickets from one of the local bands playing at the show, support the scene and fuck ticket master. its $22-23 flat charge, no added charge. if you want their contact just ask me
 
well, if you buy from the local bands, i can tell one of them(im friends with 3 of the 4 bands playing that night) just to hold one for you. they each have to sell 75 for the show or theyre not allowed to play, which is why i say get all your friends to buy from them too =o.
 
:grin: Nice to finally see a thread about the NYC show. :ill: I saw the decrepancy on the CoB site and was thinking "if I buy tix and I end up going alone and then there's no show, I'd have wasted my money and I'd have to haul ass back home." Now to con a friend into going with me. I'm only going for CoB and maybe check out Nevermore since my bf likes them.
 
Anyone from the LI area going ? Seems as if I might end up being the only one I know that wnats to go. The thing is last time I went to Lamours I ended up getting majorly LOST!!!
