Question on MP3 Downloads

Except that some smaller lables, and most bands aren't set up to report sales to SoundScan.

This kinda puzzles me. It can't be all THAT hard for a label to get hooked up for Soundscan reporting, for CD sales at concerts or wherever.

Heck, if Dancing Ferret (goth/underground label, r.i.p.) can do it, I'd think any of "our" metal labels could, too.

I highly recommend eMusic. Legal MP3s and they have lots of prog & power metal in their library.
