Hey Everyone,
I'll be working with a top, local death metal act from the bay area and i wanted to ask anyone who has experience with the DM4 how i should go about taking the output of the drummer's toms. He has 4 toms all triggered and i'm not quite sure if i should create a stereo track and have the drummer mix them in stereo in his DM4. Any thoughts?

i would give each drum its own track so you can clean it up later, which im sure you will have to do. id also record his actual toms, tuned with new or like new heads because the tom sounds in the dm4 arent that great. but then you can mix his sounds with the real toms and get good results if you are careful.
