Hi...First, Let me ask you, Did you know that you have some crazy fans from Chile? Yeah, that little country at the end of the world, in south america
Well, I´ve been wondering if Vintersorg some day, will made a world tour.
I don´t know I would like to watch Vintersorg alive...at least watch a DVD.
Do you recognize these things? Let me say "congratulations Vintersorg!", your music is fuckin´ great, the way you mix the math, philosophy with music is...uf! Brilliant! Thanx for your music!

Problem with Chile :


50 CD sales.

5000 people at the concert.

I really wonder how all those people got to know the band without buying the CD... :Smug:

And I know about the "CDs are expansive" factor, I have friends down in chile. But the fact is, it's not a very motivating factor for a band to go play there when they obviously know that everyone there stole their music on the internet.

And I also know about the "they should go play for them cause those people still like the music even if they didn't buy it" answer. Don't forget that music always was, still is, and will always be largely influenced by economicla factors : music has a large "business" side to it.

I'm sure Mr Hedlund won't be paying 20 000$+ to carry all the stuff he needs down to Chile since going down there doesn't get him any viable money income.

well...as we're just a two piece band it's always problems with the live-thing..and personally the time is another factor that always is present..with two kids, studying, working etc I have huge problems just to find time to record the stuff I want/need.

Actually I Have Cosmic Genesis and Visions From The Spiral Generator...I didn´t find the other albums, and it´s true about the sales of record, but at least I know a lot of people who lived in Chile, He had a lot of fans around here.

I know play guitar, bass, drums, and also I am learning to play piano! When you wish, I can play with you ^^
Actually, I could upload my version of Astral And Arcane, obviously, only for comments, no spyware and nothing about those things...

sersiously tho i am from australia and it gets hard to find cd's here (or for bands to ever tor here) and i got my vintersorg cd's from a distro in aregntina. i thought that was near chillie tho i am quite ignorant to geography thats not australia or scandinavia hahahaha.

I'm fan of steve di giorgio and tyr too. when steve played in vintersorg was my dream come true!! excellent band and excellent bassist!!!

I'm a fan of vintersorg since 1998. I already play around 50 songs of Vintersorg, the Empricism and Epic of Borknagar, all Fission - Crater album and full älvefärd and sagovindars boning of Otyg.

I play too guitar (acoustic more than electric) and a lot of instruments like flutes, zampoña, tarka, ocarine, quena, etc.

I'm so sorry about the timeless life of mr.V and the low CD sale rates here. I got Sagovindars Boning, Till Fjälls (both too difficult to get) and The Focusing Blur.

I always dream to see Vintersorg, borknagar or Otyg live (I hope some day otyg meet again) but I live in the most extreme country in the world.. the rest is so far to me...

please Mr V come to south america (if the place is Brasil i'll go to see you man!!!!)

The last time, I heard about Slovenia was at the grand prix de eurovision de la chanson or which name ever it has now...

I saw them for the first and yet last time at the ssummerbreeze 2004. that was a concert!
and primordial on the same day was the best ending of a day you can imagine! (I think it was the same day )
