Is it true that you only get 10 days annual leave from your employer in Canada?

It all depends on the employer. There is no set vacation allowance. The norm I have seen is 3 weeks.

Depends on the job.
That is the legal minimum time if you're working full-time all year long.
Of course, it can be way more than that (4-5 weeks)

Really depends on the employer. There's no law or standard that dictates anything of the kind, except the minimum that employers have to respect.
