Hey guys - quick question regarding reamping.
I'm using an M-Audio 1814. It's firewire-powered, doesn't have an external power source.
Input is straight into the M-Audio mic input.
Output is out of the M-Audio aux out.
When I use it's built in output (output 3) it sends the amp (a Peavey 6505) a fair bit of noise. Question is, is that noise coming on the way in, or the way out?
See, I wanna record everything now - and reamp later. Just want to know if it's safe to proceed for now while the reamp box is on the way.
What do?
