Quick test/Your thouths/Guess the mic(s)

Well, this is my usual chain which consist of my Burny Les Paul (of course), a Boss SD-1
, a Marshall JCM900 and a 4x12 Harley Benton with V30's.

I'm certainly not claiming that this gear is the best for metal, but here comes the fun part
I recently purshased one of those cheap ass measuring microphone amongst a lot of other mics. I wasn't expecting much from it to be honest.

So what you're listening is a combination of an Audix I5 (not digging this one that much, I still prefer my 57's) and the T-bone MM-1 measuring microphone.

The result is ok, not great, I think, but

what I can tell you is that it is a faithful recreation of what I'm actually hearing while standing in front of the amp in the room.

I'll be buying another one asap. I fucking love this piece of crap mic.

:hypno:

What was the mic position for this mic? Oh, and could you please make a quick mix with some drums and 4 tracks with the t-bone? That would be great

I'm kind of busy right now but I'll see if I can do something within the forthcoming days.
The MM-1 was about 1 meter away from the cab, then time aligned to the i5 later in the daw (not an easy task I must confess).
The ratio is like 55% audix, 45% mm-1.
